The point of the "law" is simply to get people to not hunt so much, influence or manipulate them, since no case of punishment has been a thing it still might not have that much deterrent, but it will be there. About Lyanna, I did write that everything went according to the original lore so yeah xd. Ashara was a maiden for the princess and as she was available for talking, asking for a small favor for a recommendation or just putting a good word is actually for the best. About asking House Dayne, yeah it’s already done by Rickard. As for Benjen, yeah, my knowledge about the lore is rather shallow and from my own knowledge he was enticed in Harrenhal by a brother of the watch.
