It all sounds idyllic, a life well lived, by all accounts I have succeeded as a human being and lived to a truly venerable age and left a long legacy. But it all felt empty, the world always seemed a bit wrong, like something was lacking in it, everything was tasteless and colorless, now I am not saying it was unbearable but the feeling was always there in the back of my head ruining my enjoyment of most things.
