Technically there are many resurrection and life extension Jutsus in Naruto, so it would both be possible and feasible for someone to have been revived or immortal and as such living in the modern era. I keep imagining Fujin holding the Kiba Blades and the Sword of the Thunder God like Zoro’s Three Sword Style to use all the weapons abilities to the max!
And the third stroke of luck was gaining the Kiba Blades. It helped Fujin to control natural Lightning and allowed him to create Kirin, giving Fujin a lethal attack. In addition, since the Kiba blades also had an amplification aspect, Kirin didn't leave him completely drained.

I’m really hoping Vandal Savage isn’t really dead and is just faking it while watching what his supposed destined succesor is planning and simply taking a break, as time has little meaning to the Immortal Conqueror.
