thanks for the input. hopefully this answer will suffice, so here I go. otto s goal, as far as I m aware, is to revive Kallen. now, imagine you have this one clone of yours, which was supposed to be a failure, randomly come to life (no herrscher core, nothing like that). of course he d be intrigued to find it missing, and of course there would be footage or something to show the clone walking away on its own. we can also argue that it would make for a variable in his plan, one that might bite him in the ass, or we can see it as a good variable for him, one he could capture and study. sounds funky as a whole, but in the way I see it, it makes sense and explains the chaos well. tl;dr: supposed failed clone somehow came to life. otto wants to revive Kallen. said clone could prove to be a good tool
