AN: I'm not really sure about this one. I don't know if I characterized Dumbledore and Harry well enough. I wanted the headmaster to be solemn but not afraid of dying, a bit like how he was in Canon. As for Harry, he was laying one of the last parts of his plan, even if it wasn't shown. As usual, please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions. I don't mind rewriting this one if you don't like it; like I said, I'm not entirely sure about it either.

Ember needed more time to accept that she could control shadows now. Cedric didn't tell her about being a summoner, as the revelation might threaten her loyalty to him. He would tell her when he felt the time was right.

“Which Snape was expecting” Inspecting?
Harry was about to warn his housemates, only for Harold to sneakily wave his wand, getting Malfoy's hand to twitch and send it flying towards Goyle's potion which Snape was expecting. Immediately, the potion started to glow and exploded in Snape's face, although the potion master managed to somehow evade most of the blast. Goyle wasn't so lucky and was sent flying back. Of course, hundreds of droplets of the potion flew in the air and contaminated most of the other potions, creating a small cascade of failures and unpredictable effects.
