Amazing (and very realistic) the way the MC wants to distance himself from the entire archetype: Hero Vs. Villain. I also loved the way he distanced himself from the canon, I hate self-insert fanfics that do everything possible to continue the canon, these fanfics serve precisely to distance themselves from the canon!
