Surprisingly delightful, barely 40 chapters in, and I am enjoying the character progression as well as the style of writing. Binge reading session has commenced.

Anticlimactic ending. Where's the Ancient God? What happened to Stanley? There are so many unfinished pieces of the story. His father ending up as a forgotten side character? ....Wish there was more....
Overall, it's a good story. It had its convoluted points, but it was worth the read.
