That's not the issue, my friend; HxH is a work with a journey pattern that makes you overlook things that happen in the future or in the past. You don't give much credit to the dark fact because the story started by making you focus on the MC as someone good and without problems at that moment. Just like it was done in Tokyo Ghoul, Naruto and other works; where even though it was made clear that people's lives are not good, they never started the works with the protagonist suffering any abuse, and if they did suffer something in the first chapter, it never lasts long. My problem, as I said, is that I'm not going to start a story where the first chapter only shows the character being abused, giving a hook for more later chapters of him being abused, with the title of the following chapters showing that he only reincarnates in chapter 5 or 6; which indicates that the reader will have to read possibly 4 chapters of a child/teenager being abused and being mentally broken; his journey of a shitty life. As I said, I'm not sadistic enough to see the signs and carry on.
