Bones had appeared from the ground and pierced through their feet, pinning them to the ground. As they looked down, a bone spike was launched from the ground at each of the four Suna ninjas. It pierced right through their bodies, killing them on the spot!

They had no information about his abilities even naruto and lee had information about him before fighting (naruto because he made his clones fight first) and (lee because of naruto telling him) especially because his clan is so rare its hard to beat him gaara was just a very good counter
