Yeah, I know about the in-universe explanation. Doesn't make the premise any better in my opinion, so I dropped this novel long ago. Thanks though.
After that day, due to Leonel's popularity, Aina, who had been practically invisible to the young noble girls, had practically become public enemy number one. They couldn't get a glance but she got a confession? What made her worthy?

Reminds me of the quote from Terry Pratchett: "Scientists have calculated that the chances of something so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten."
Aisha nodded, this was not even close to the most eccentric conditions she has seen a grimoire or even some spells demand their users to meet, as a great magic theorist once said "the world is filled with things that should be impossible and yet they exist".

Naming a five man group a legion.. This prince seems to have pretty severe delusions of grandeur.
After making sure no one else was around, Sally used wind magic to boost herself back onto the roof and took off once again. She wondered how the stupid prince would feel when he found out three of his five Black Legion members were now dead and killed by a maid, no less.

Their reason to practice the martial arts was quite weird- they wanted to fight wild beasts, and join illegal underground fights!

To me, this novel is the equivalent of an ice cream dropped in the dirt. It had the potential to be good, but now it's just ruined. Hope you'll continue enjoying it though.
His expression didn't change much, nor was there any rage in it. He didn't seem to be angry with Miel at all. In fact, maybe he was a bit thankful. Who know what else he might have said had he not been snapped out of that state.

*Sigh* That's the last paragraph I'll read. This "romance" just ruins the whole story for me.

He doesn't like to be low profile. 😂
This was the only thought Ryu could finish before his skin suddenly became a shining beacon. The furious glow was like a pillar of light piercing through the skies and drowning out even the sun above. In that moment, the blue skies were painted in white, being completely outshone by Ryu himself.

Once again Aina is the only one getting anything out of this. Her father tries to kill Leonel for rejecting her, which he had every right to do. And despite interfering in the tournament and trying to kill her son, Leonels mother just let's him go. Simping for Aina just because she cried a little bit. Leonel gives up his benefits, once again putting the convenience of this selfish woman above his own ambitions, the security of his people and his own self-respect.
"Can you give this to her?" Leonel asked.

He does. He's already received valuable training and a spatial ring. He just can't decide what to keep on his own. Here's an analogy for you: Imagine you had a goldmining company. You hire workers to mine gold for you. You train them, equip them and you pay them an agreed upon wage in return for their work. That's the deal. If one of the workers found a hump of gold and just took it for himself, that would be stealing.
Liam sighed and shook his head. "I know you know I'm smart enough not to."
