There are some aspects that fall short to me; which could be due to cultural differences and parts being lost in translation. The freckles making her ugly idea was just waaaay too unbelievable. Especially to western readers where freckles are a cute fashion trait right now. The romance also falls short of being anything more than physically motivated (that could change I'm only at chapter 28). But it feels like it perpetuates ideas like a woman owes you ***/physical gratification if you provide for/ spoil her. All in all, good art and interesting world building.
