Tbh it is kinda sad seeing everyone stopped reading after they saw megumin throwing an uncontrolled explosion in their way. For me the story kinda dips abit around chap 500-800. Even before the explosion it was starting to get stale and repetitive and it feels like it will take a long time to finish it. It might even be more than 1k chaps by then and it will definitely be like every other subpar cultivation novel. at around 500-800 the plot just isnt engaging enough especially the training arc. It is only when the war arc is starting that it feels like it has improved but the war arc still lost to the first war arc. Right after they ascend to the realm of gods tho, it was just like the moment when u first started reading this. It was refreshing and so much new stuff for Mc to explore/improve on. And also dont expect to read a New york’s time bestselling type of novel that uses alot of different vocabulary.

Yes i agree the story has a lot of plotholes. Maybe because he writes 12 hours a day that he is doesnt think that much when writing or maybe it is just a lack of a good editor. Maybe the author only proofread the story checking for grammar and spelling mistakes only and not so much on the logic of how the world works even if it is fiction.
