I’m surprised she holds resentment for Tai Lung. After all it was Shen that killed Master Rhino not Tai Lung. Yeah Tai Lung injured him but it was mostly from an official duel that he accepted. So I don’t get why she wants to kill Tai Lung and not Shen.
At least, he was only allowed to die by her hand.

Tai Lung stated himself that he wouldn’t have noticed the difference in chi if he wasn’t actively paying close attention to it. Right now he isn’t mating attention to his hearing and is instead holding back on purpose.
Tai Lung should've noticed it. But the only reason he did not was because he was actively holding back his hearing as well. It was mentioned before, but it was annoying to hear things so loudly all of the time.
