You know, I always figured it'd be something like a bone marrow transplant. Though there is an augment you could get called Dense Marrow in game, so I imagine there'd be a standard marrow that comes with the skeleton implant.
- Now, about the bones... well, a titanium skeleton would be the easiest to install. Especially since you don't have any mantis blades, monostrings or other hidden weaponry. But you already said you don't want one... I'll have to do some more searching... Although... I think I've seen an article about one skeleton made of particularly strong and lightweight materials... I'll have to check the tabs, I usually save anything interesting....
