doubtful. his class shouldnt be bigger than 30 people and assuming there are at least 2 academies that would already be enough. but i would guess more like half a dozen acadmies exist which would make this massively overkill.

while i do think the whole thing should have been extremely memorable and 13 years shouldn't matter this is not an argument purely of logic, it's at least as important to consider the readers emotional state. seeing someone tumbling around oblivious to what we already know is extremely annoying. if we didn't know and mc didn't know it wouldn't be an issue but we do. ironically these situations are the few instances where it's fine to make you're mc temporarily extremely and overly perceptive, the reader will gloss over it easily as they themselves have also figured it out and subconsciously go yeah makes sense even if it's somewhat unrealistic. this is especially true in set ups where we have the same information as the mc without having the inner thoughts of an outside character
