Excellent, it's a great idea and well written fantasy. It has its period feeling through the writing and the world building is great. Can't decide which army I like best, as they're all very unusual and familiar with a difference.
Great action, lead female is written and developed well, feminine and experienced. Interested in the introduced kilt wearing space marine chapter too. Highly Recommenced

First; characters and settings are interesting, in-depth and well paced. From the four, I like the girl. Each character having their specialised and secretive backgrounds, skills, and personality, plus some good dry humour. The plot is fascinating, dark, and unravelled just right. I would honestly pay to read this. Second; thank you for updating regularly, I've enjoyed and looked forward to continuing their mysterious journey. Third; writing quality is excellent, and style 'sparse prose' is easy and fascinating to read.
