I haven't been using Destiny based armors, but if you have one you'd suggest, I may be inclined to ape it when I settled his design.
In brief- Jaune dies in Initiation, gets Guardian'ed
Undetermined- But not TOO large. the games settled around four or five, and I likely won't exceed that
To your critiques- 1. I modeled them off police, not soldiers. Police will act sweet and kind and accomodating to get things from you. It's a tactic, and one which was being employed here. 2. ST Academy is EXPENSIVE. I needed a heavy hitter to come in who could handle the funding needed to get MC into the ST Academy. Subtext in the scene indicates the big guy wasn't there for him, he was there for a target - so this IS a coincidence. It's a bit of a 'bad miracle' if you will. Where everything went wrong but MC got a good luck streak riiight at the end, which leads to bad things you can probably predict.
It won't be! Updates may be farther and fewer between than many prefer, until someone Requests it or Patreon votes for it, but it will get worked on when I have the time.
