An enjoyable cultivation novel, but if you enjoy a lot a face-slapping and a fast paced story its not for you. The setting is a classic eastern cultivation world setup and its developments and action is enjoyable but its main appeal is that it has a slice-of-life feel to it with some good comedy here and there. It’s a lot like Path Toward Heaven where the MC is OP and he can solve all his problems pretty quickly, so you get attached to the characters and their relationships instead, though the world-building in this novel isn’t as well written. Plus, the MC acts pretty much according with his setting and there’s not many plot holes, both of which I always get frustrated with. Sometimes the translation seems a bit dodgy with pronouns but overall its writing is solid and comprehensible.
