Voldymort was killable through a singular killing curse, it's just for some reason JK Rowling decided to make the "good guys" never use it even when they were in open war before Harry's birth. Reason why his backfire killed him when it was rebound under Lily's love magic and when Harry's expelliarmus duel against V's KC causing the spell to once more rebound and kill him. of course, I never really understood that concept since Expelliarmus isn't really a strong spell compared to magical and mental output needed for the killing curse so logically speaking everytime someone dueled against another who was using a killing curse, they should've lost...

cause it's Chinese and they're of course going to always bring it back to Chi, seriously it's the one most common trope in China and I'm surprised they haven't gotten sick of the same genre due to nearly every author always writing a story like that, but then again, the country forces nationalism and so they are fully devoted to eating up dog shit, as they say since they can't really get anything else that would so much as whisper a disagreement with some obscure stupid point in their culture or government. 🤷♂️
This doesn't mean that innate Qi is inferior to magic.

incorrect my friend. Again, dragons require multiple killing curses, meaning increasing his physic and willpower should theoretically eventually make him immune to a single, couple, several, or even tens of killing curses being cast upon him at the same time.

Maximilian, of course, curled his fist in wrath but stayed his anger as he knew making a scene here and now would only result in further shame. He had never been so humiliated before in his life and did not know what to do now that his hopes to steal a fortune away from those who deserved it had been dashed before his very eyes.

Magic originating from an Asian location does not make it Qi and cultivation. to be honest I'm surprised the Chinese populace aren't as upset as they should be with the fact that Modern China government, and media influences, have worked towards removing all wizards from Chinese history and myths and instead call them cultivators since in the old myths Chinese wizards and cultivators both existed and were very clearly 2 separate practices and power usage/output.
