Could've just continued with the original world and when he outgrew it he'll go to other universes to plunder their universes but be restricted by having universes having different laws that his divinities must adapt to and when he adapts to it his divinity gets stronger. Could've made it so hades creates his own power system while conquering other universes until he reaches the cultivation universes where he isn't so op since he'll go up against cultivators and heavenly sons blessed with luck and all that shit

Option no. 1 spunds interesting, and to not make the oc a voldy carbon copy he should make his oc specialize into a different magic discipline than voldy.

Since people dont want him to be a skeleton, his true form can be him gaining 6pair of wings made out of pure death energy and obsidian colorered bone armor (it's also infused with all the essence of minerals from the underworld since one of his divinity is riches) then a crown made out of pure death energy as well.
