I'm happy to amuse you! 😁 This really sounds interesting, can't wait for it. That creation of race make me remember something. I once thought, what would be best combination of races in some unknown universe (you don't know, what type of universe it is, how powerful people can get there and what is inside). Principle is to created great combination, not just take op group smash them together. But creating something new(er).I thought of two things. Base Time Lords, upgraded with Saiyan DNA and lastly Doomsday DNA. Time Lord base is because they are pretty smart race with great regeneration cheat in their DNA (timeless child), with Saiyan DNA, they can grow their regeneration power and each regeneration will make them stronger (and probably tail and muscles, but who knows). Doomsday at the end (least involved) will just change regeneration, to adapt individual through it. What we have? Race of inteligent 'people' that can generate regeneration energy and each regeneration, they adapt to their environment and treats, through which they grow stronger (or in what direction they need to grow). second idea is pretty simpler. Replicators with Alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist (brotherhood version). This is honestly scary. Everything they touch will become material for their replication and with how smart they are and how creative and powerful alchemy can be, especially with large scaled rituals, they would probably transform whole planets into them really fast. Give them Machine type AI as directing component and you have pretty much unstoppable force. Anyway that are my crazy ideas. I hope they are as funny for you as they are for me and maybe they will inspire you little bit.

Thanks for amazing journey! I hope, you will find inspiration for this story again, but better to not force yourself. I'm very curious about your next project. If you aren't already decided, I would love to see some not human protagonist (probably reincarnated human). They are interesting to read about, when done right (and because quality of this story, I believe you could do it). Maybe reincarnated AI (like Machine/Samaritan from PoI) or simply reincarnated as something from Star Gate. Replicators, Goa'ulds, Wraiths, Asgards all of them have great potential for interesting story. Or not reincarnated story, but interesting crossover. Like Star Gate and Battlestar Galactica (new one). Like imagine Cylons are planing their attack on colonies, but before they can start, they meets Goa'ulds! (Goa'ulds manage to capture one of human models, try to make them Host, big mistake, they kill themselves and are reborn with some information from symbiote.) Now they are at edge of war, they didn't want a d would like to get some allies. Fortunately they know someone, unfortunately they were planing to annihilate them all before... This is going to be most awkward meeting in history.
