Your review confuses me and I'm the author. After the Wiki dump explaining the branches of Grisha, the story is pretty original with some tie-ins to the series. But the story is set years before the start of the canon and will be considered AU, like the production of Jurda Parem years ahead of the canon. You can't read half a chapter and assume the rest.
