I noticed this comment section don't let me format the text (everything ends up written in a single line, which is unreadable) so I'll write a review in the main page of this novel where I can actually insert the text in a readable way,
The story is completed in the original format but the translator only translated the first half of the final chapter (chapter 177) so the translated story seems not having a proper ending. By the way, the translator split the chapters so the incriminated chapter 177 correspond to chapter 110 in the original format (on page.kakao.com) Since I doubt the translator will ever come back and fix this mistake, I'll include here the Machine Translation of the missing part of chapter 177 to give whoever see this review a chance to read the actual end of this novel. Oh and btw, the translator also didn't properly translate chapter 134 (corresponding, in the original format, to the 2nd half of ch87 and 1st half of ch88). It seems he made a mistake and duplicated the content of chapter 133. I'll also include the Maching Translation for that chapter for whoeveer is interested. ------------------------------------------------------------------ CHAPTER 134 (2nd half ch87 & 1st half ch88, in the original format), START HERE: Gyeon-hee asked as if he did not understand. Then, Seon moved her gaze and pointed at the woman sitting. “See that badge?” "badge?" Gyeon-hee looked at the woman sitting with her brows together. A small sky-blue badge hung from her bag. “What is that?” “It’s a maternity badge. She's pregnant." "ah… so." Only then did Gyeon-hee understand and looked at her. “It is pretty.” "what?" “Your heart.” Gyeonhee smiled and looked away. At that time, the subway doors opened and office workers rushed in on their way to work. Pushed by the crowd, the two eventually ended up in a small gap right next to the door. Gyeon-hee managed to hold on with both arms, but the distance between him and him was less than a hand. From a distance where he could hear his breathing, she awkwardly turned her head away without even raising her head. Gyeonhee looked at her with a faint smile. “Why, why are you laughing?” Awkward Seon asked. “Because it’s cute.” "Go, what are you talking about all of a sudden?" She averted her gaze and spoke in a low voice. Then he lowered his head and brought it closer to her face. “Today, the makeup is a little different.” “Oh, no. Do it like this.” She answered awkwardly, avoiding her head. Her Gyeonhee smiled at her and looked at her knowingly. “Maybe it’s because we’ve been apart for so long, just looking at them makes my heart flutter.” He looked at her with hot eyes. Perhaps it was because his eyes were unexpectedly hot, so she unknowingly avoided his gaze. Gyeon-hee smiled at her, and then gently grabbed her hand. I carefully covered her hand with my large hand, lest I bump into others. Episode 88. Should I just die Sinsa Station. After getting off the subway, Suni suddenly stopped walking. At the same time, Gyeon-hee had no choice but to stop following her. “Now go away.” "why?" Gyeon-hee asked. "The staff won't think it's strange." “How is that?” “How is that?” Sehun looked at him with his eyes wide open. After reading the meaning of those eyes, Gyeon-hee hurriedly opened her mouth. "That's an old story." "under." Seon-i let out a sigh of relief. “I hate myself now. It's burdensome.” “Am I a burden?” “Aren’t you embarrassed? Are you going to work with the company representative?” “It wasn’t like that before.” “At that time, we were dating.” "what? Aren't we dating again?" Sun-yi looked up at him without saying a word. “Oh, I know. You said you'd wait ha." Gyeonhee let out a sigh. “Count to five hundred and go.” After she said that, she put her earphones in her ears and walked away. She climbed her steps, looking back several times to see if he would follow. "ha." A moment later, when she disappeared, he sighed with his eyes closed. “Five hundred?” He looked at his watch and started counting with a nervous expression. "one two three four five… Eight.” He couldn't stand it any longer and ran after her. In the distance, the back of Seonyi, who was moving along with the people, caught my eye. Gyeon-hee followed her at an appropriate distance so as not to be noticed. “Are all the people of Seoul here?” Countless people were diligently moving their steps toward their respective jobs. But even in the midst of so many people, his gaze did not miss her. "huh?" But there was a man following Seon. It was suspicious to see him fiddling with his cell phone. Sure enough, as Seon climbed the escalator, the man came close behind her. Gyeon-hee, who couldn't stand it for a moment, moved quickly and stood side by side with the man. "hey." Gyeon-hee called him in a very low voice. The startled man looked up at Gyeon-hee. “That woman is my lover.” At his words, the man quickly put down his phone as if embarrassed. "hmm. hmm." Then, with an awkward cough, I ran up the escalator to avoid him. Gyeon-hee, who was glaring at the man, immediately turned his head to look at her. Maybe it was because she was listening to music, but fortunately, Seon didn't seem to know. “Can you not care about this?” Gyeon-hee said something disapprovingly to herself and stood close behind her. And covered her with a large back. *** "good morning." Seon shouted as he went to work. "what? What else are you two doing?” Ari, who opened the door and entered, spoke hastily. "what?" “Don’t pretend it isn’t. CEO Woo followed me around like a puppy.” "what? uh, what are you talking about” “Did I see you from the station?” When I told him to come after counting five hundred, it seemed that he secretly chased from behind. "ah… It's nothing.” Seon tried to change the topic as if he was embarrassed. "see you again?" Eun-young, who was on her way to work just in time, asked. “You are here.” Ari said hello. "OK." Eun-young put her bag down and looked at Seon again. She meant to answer. “It’s not like that. Not yet… ” "Not yet?" Seon-i, who wanted to say sorry, opened his mouth. But the more she spoke, the more misunderstood she felt, so she just kept her mouth shut. “Make your decision well this time. Reconnect or disconnect, make sure. Understand?" At Eunyoung's words, Seoni nodded slowly. “But, he comes again and snoops around.” At Ari's words, the two turned their heads and looked toward the hallway. Through the window in the hallway, the figure of Secretary Kwon passed by. "hmm." Eun-young took a peek and drew the curtains so she couldn't see inside. "What are you doing? not working.” "yes? Ah yes." At Eun-young's words, Ari quickly sat down and said. “There must be something.” Ari whispered. “Sister, Ari must have something?” “Oh, sister!” Ari hurriedly tried to block Seon's mouth. Fortunately, when she looked up, Eun-yeong had already left. “Really sister!” Ari, who belatedly grasped the situation, shouted out loud. “Don’t say anything behind your back that you can’t say in front of you.” Sun-i smiled and moved her gaze back to the monitor. ------------------------------------------------------------------ MISSING PART OF ch177 (final chapter), START HERE: *** 1 year later. After getting out of the taxi, Suni looked up at the high-rise officetel building. It was after the winter had passed and the weather had become extremely warm, and the clothes had become quite light. After riding the elevator and getting off the 3rd floor, Seon-i saw a familiar name in his eyes. “Kids fan… ” Seon opened the door and entered with a smile. Fang, Fang! Firecrackers exploded and pollen was thrown over her head. “Congratulations on your reinstatement! Ari shouted with a bright smile. “You were surprised.” Suni said with a smile. "congratulations. Chief Chun.” Eun-young hugged her and said. “Can I work now?” "huh. My hands are shaking a little, but it's worth it.” “I’m so glad.” Ari hugged her and said. “Have you checked the terms of the contract?” "contract conditions?" Sun-yi asked curiously. “Oh, the one I sent in the mail yesterday. Didn't you look carefully?" "What? conditions?” “Hmmmm. Listen carefully. First of all, you don't have to work overtime until you're fully recovered. And rehab training should never be skipped. If you violate 3 times, you will be expelled. okay?" Suni smiled. "Smile? you're really going to quit okay?" "yes. yes. All right. But aren’t the terms of the contract too favorable for the employee?” “It is our company. You can leave if you don't like it.” “It can’t be.” The three of them burst into laughter at Seonyi's exaggerated answer. Seon, who sat down, turned on the computer after a long time. Focusing on her rehabilitation, she had accumulated hundreds of unread emails that she hadn't checked. As she was checking carefully, a familiar email caught her eye. - Guide to dormant accounts on photogenic sites It was an image storage site that contained memories with him. Even after a year, her face sank at the memory of him suddenly digging into her. *** weekend afternoon. Because the weather was getting better, Seon took Rabong to the park near his house. “Whoa, whoa!” After a long walk, Rabong ran around like he was excited. As she looked on, her cell phone rang. The familiar number brought a smile to her face. - Mr. Sun. Eunwoo's voice came over the phone. "long time no see?" - sorry. I'm a bit busy in the meantime. You've been well, right? Are you receiving rehabilitation treatment? "of course. Where are you now?" - hmm. This is the Pacific Ocean near Australia. “The Pacific?” - yes. Minke whales are illegally fished in this area. "ah… ” Sunny nodded. After finishing all her business, Eunwoo joined a marine environment preservation organization. It was not easy to even contact them as they moved from country to country within a few days due to worldwide activities. I suddenly remembered what Eunwoo said a year ago when he left. 'It's like a second Santiago to me.' It had already been a year since he left smiling. - How's everyone? "sure. Everything is fine.” - Is it spring there? "yes. The weather is perfect for a walk.” - He must be taking a walk with Labong. Startled, she looked around. "How did you know?" - Mr. Seon is a person like water. all visible “Are you kidding me?” - You notice that you notice a lot faster? "what?" The two burst into laughter. To Seon-i, he was one of the few people with whom he could talk casually, like an old friend. - Oh, I guess I'm in trouble now. I'll contact you again later. "yes. Take care of yourself.” Before I could say goodbye, the phone hung up. Seon, who was looking at his phone with a light smile, raised his head. Patter. Then, the early spring rain suddenly started pouring. “Labong!” Seon quickly hugged Labong. “What should I do, I don’t have an umbrella.” Looking around, she saw a cafe in the distance. It was the same cafe that he and I used to frequent. After thinking for a while, she started running with Labong in her arms. As she hurriedly opened the door, her door bell rang loudly. "phew." Seon stood in front of the door and shook off the rainwater. "uh? It's been a while since you came.” The boss still recognized Suni and greeted her. "Ah yes. I have some work.” Said with an awkward smile. "It's nice to see you two coming together." “… yes?" Sensei slowly turned around as if surprised. A tall man with dark eyes and dark hair. Gyeonhee was standing in front of the door. “Bye, Mr. Kyeon-hee.” Surprised, Seon-i couldn't move from the spot as if he had stopped. Tension, anxiety, surprise, for some reason, my heart suddenly started beating. However, he looked at her quietly and then turned around and walked away from her cafe. Took. It felt like something in my chest had fallen to the floor. But she tried to smile. “… This is right.” After speaking to herself, she slowly turned around and tried to leave the cafe. But he came back before he knew it and blocked her way. Startled, she raised her head and looked up at him. Gyeonhee held something in her hand with a firm expression on her face without saying a word. It was a red scarf he had given me before. It was slightly wet from the rain, so it must have been taken out of the car. “I always carried it with me, not knowing when we would meet.” he said in a calm voice. His voice was calm, but her eyes shook violently. The awkward way he handed over a present for the first time, the friendly smile on his face, the way he looked in pain as he hugged his scarf. Her scarf, with its countless memories, brought her back to that moment. But she did her best to get her heart together. He held out the scarf he was holding back to him. "I do not need." “It’s yours.” “… It's too late for the scarf. It's already spring." She bowed her head. Looking into his eyes, it seemed as if he would reveal his inner feelings without even realizing it. Gyeon-hee took a step closer to her, who lowered her head. Then she said in a low voice. “It is not too late. The season when you need a scarf will come again. Like a flower blooming again.” Sunny's eyes softened. She quickly lowered her head at her tears, not wanting to be seen. “… waited a long time This is my truth.” He expressed his heart to her with all his heart. She kept her head down, still unable to answer. He reached out and gently hugged her head. I patted him carefully, lest the most precious being get hurt. 'Okay. Okay.' His hand seemed to say so. “Huh, black.” A cry that she had been trying to suppress came out of her mouth. She hugged her tighter and hugged her. She grabbed his clothes. And for the first time in her life, tears of joy flowed from her eyes. END OF THE NOVEL ------------------------------------------------------------------
For whoever is interested, I also wrote a review in the main page of this novel where I included the Machine Translation of the correct chapter 134. You can go there and read it
I actually wrote another review including the missing part of the final chapter under a SPOILER TAG. Check it out to read the actual ending of this novel.
The translator didn't include the 2nd part of this chapter, which is also the final chapter of this novel. Since I doubt he'll ever come back to corret this mistake I'll include the Machine Translation of the missing part of the chapter in replies to this comment.
The novel is great and the translation is not bad mostly. The problem is that every chapter is missing a bit of the original content. You will often find paragraphs such as (<> she thought.). There it is. <> is where the missing content should be. Almost all the characters' inner dialogues or remembrances are missing in the translation and replaced with the brackets <>. It almost seems that the translator wanted to put those sentences inside the brackets to differentiate them from the rest but something went wrong and the content went missing. Either way, you'll understand most of the novel but, since these pieces of content are there, often you won't be sure of what the character are actually thinking, what actually happened to them in the past (you'll get a general idea but not the specifics of the situation they are remembering), and why they are taking certain actions. It's a pity cause for the rest the translation is not even bad and the novel is really good.

For example, the 2 orphans the MC takes in her army during the 3 Army Alliance arc. There is a foreshadowing by Liu Lou that they are more than what they seems, and that the MC will be surprised about their future. Like they seems 2 ordinary human boys but, maybe, in reality they are of another more powerful race. After this they are no longer mentioned, at all. We don't even know what happen to them. So I'm not clear if the author forgot about them, or he had to cut short that part of the story for some reason. There are other example of this kind: for some character you don't know their ending, for others you don't know if they resolved their problems, etc.... However, these "imperfections" do not make the story less enjoyable. It's just a shame that although there may have been more content to read, it wasn't included in the end.
Good story, very enjoyable. But with some flaws. The translation is good overall but sometimes there are errors: for example sometimes the names of some character or country are wrong. But you can notice it based on the context so this doesn't ruin the reading experience. The story is also good. Very good. But I think the author originally wanted to make it longer. It's just my impression but some aspects make me believe it. Sometimes there are some foreshadowing about certain characters but then they are no longer mentioned. Maybe the author forgot about it or maybe he had to cut the story short.
the king probably had sons with concubines or secondary consorts but only a daughter with the queen.
Prince Mingung, who heard the news, hardened his expression. Although he was not Yo's biological son, Prince Mingung played the role of a son as the king and the queen had no son.
