THANK YOU! everyone likes to think that Dumbledore was the reason Harry needed to sacrifice himself, but the fact was he would need to die no matter what in the end. if all Dumbledore saw in Harry was a pig to be sacrificed, he never would have left him alive as a baby to begin with. what would be the point in allowing Harry to grow up just to die anyways, unless it was to give Dumbledore time to find a way for Harry to live?
The only problem is the "conspiracy theory" mentioned in the fan fiction Ivan had read before, such as Harry being a pawn of Dumbledore and having been manipulated his entire life.

he DID however recall flashes of bright green light in his dreams and I THINK maybe his mom pleading with Voldemort(been a while since I read the books). it was entirely possible that child Neville continued having night terrors due to reliving the experience in his dreams, so his grandmother wiped his mind to try and help him.
Ivan, however, knew the real reason behind Neville's memory issues. It was likely the result of a Memory Charm cast on him when he was a child.
