Without any potential upsides mentioned or hinted at yet. No mention or hint that it's because of a sudden increase in mana and he has too much mana to control properly like Naruto initially had with Kurama, nor was there mention of it being because he gained Touki or his body changing to become naturally tougher, more durable, and better able to handle large discharges of mana. Any of those qualities would have made it all worth it in the end because it would make Rudeus stronger, but so far, there haven't been any hints of any potential positives yet.

There is a good reason why I think this: 1)Rudeus has more Mana than Laplace 2)Rudeus has Touki 3)Laplace does not have Touki One of Rudeus's greatest limitations was that he was a glass cannon and couldn't use too much of his mana at a time for bigger spells. However, with Touki, he would be way more durable, which follows that he would be able to withstand using more mana. True, it took 7 heroes, but neither of them had as much mana as Laplace. Also because Rudeus has so much mana his Touki would theoretically be stronger than most because that's how Touki usually works, it covers you in an invisible armor or aura of your mana, so the more mana you put into it, the stronger the aura or armor.
