I didn’t mention all of the wandering cultivators by name at the beginning, though. But you are right, one did become a zombie in the second chapter. Of the others, I named a female cultivator and another master x
When I stop being lazy, I promise to scan over what I have already posted. I’m ninety nine percent certain that I only ever intended Shaun to be in a wheelchair. His loss of ability was due to a severe spinal injury, but I’m not sure of what I said about the state of his legs. I will look into it! Thanks for your suggestion though!

I was trying to hint that Ursam and Jin Li’s maternal grandfather were old aquaintances. I’ll reread and edit if needed to clarify x
This was a concious decision based on the fact that at the time, I was often confused by the levelling systems in cultivation novels and also to simplify it (at least in my own mind). It proceeded to develop and get a bit more complicated as things went on. So now, primary, secondary and tertiary levels are core formation, a core will form as the cultivator enters quartenary stage. Quaternary, Quinary and Senary levels are body tempering stage, developing the physical body of the cultivator, ege strength, reflexes, next three are mind tempering stage, developing the brain, eg swiftness of thought, memory. Last three are soul/spirit tempering stage in order to become a true immortal. Things may adapt again in the future x
Hmm, possibly because the author never thought about it and now that i have, though he might down the line, as only a secondary stage cultivator, even if he created something to wrap around his legs (by lost, i only meant the use of them) so he could move them, he’d have to pour a lot of his power into them with fine control constantly. With wheels, there is momentum or the potential of being pushed around by others when he lacked energy. However, this doesn’t mean his situation would remain the same forever as he cultivates x
