I have this strong desire to isekai into this novel and slap some sense into Daphne. Of note, my keyboard remembers me writing this same thing in some previous chapter 😅
When Cordelia was queen? King Marinus hadn't been specific, but even the most clueless of people could tell that King Marinus was mocking Daphne's position as Atticus's queen! While Cordelia had nothing to do with any of this, Daphne certainly had no qualms about teaching King Marinus a lesson once this was all done and over with.

And I wholeheartedly agree Atticus, because Daphne is a whiny little bitch
"I care when it's yours," Atticus replied earnestly. "Truth be told, I'm worried that you might sway with what you hear even though you know it's not true."

Why is she like this !?? Wasn't it her idea to begin with??!
"My husband is said to be receiving a new bride soon," Daphne reminded.

So NOW YOU UNDERSTAND!
"Personal feelings included," she continued, "I should've been more understanding of my husband, rather than doubt and question his every decision. I'm sorry."

I really really REALLY don't like Daphne 😡
Immediately, Daphne turned to look at Atticus with large, tear-filled eyes. She made sure to have them well right at her lower lids so that they looked glassy and glossy, making her seem ever so pitiful. In her time with Atticus, she had learned that this was one of the easier ways to get whatever she wanted from her husband.

Daphne is just - urghhh 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬
"You can fake the wedding," Daphne suggested. "Cancel it at the last minute―"

Exactly why I don't like her. She's been like this since the very beginning 😡
"It's good for you to warm up."

When's the next chapter coming out?! 😭
I think a bit of Daphne rubbed off on Cordelia, but I can imagine these two together 😁
Cordelia made up her mind then and there― she couldn't care less what King Atticus had to say. She must have Sir Jonah one way or another. In all her life, meeting all the men her father had tried to shove her to, she had never found someone as wondrously interesting as King Atticus's right-hand man.
