I hope these memories gave great insight on the background behind all of my novels. Yes, every single novel I write is tied to this backstory, and all of my novels are related even though they're all in different universes. Thank you for sticking with me so far, but the stories have only just begun. I really hope you're enjoying my stories, and I hope all of you will read my other novels to see how they connect now. It was a lot of planning to do, but I've been working on this since the very start of my writing career. There is so much more to tell, and still so much The Library has to offer. Stick around, the next chapter will be coming soon!
Heyyyyyyy, so this has been messy. There have been a lot of projects I've been handling as well as a full time job plus trying to remember to write... that fell through. I have the next chapter already in the works. I dunno how many people still read this. I've had the rest of this story planned for so long now, and I know what to write. I actually have the next like 4 novels planned out, actually. It. Doesn't. Stop. However, I'm just... terrible at time management. I'm cutting down on the amount of projects I'll be handling at one time... I also quit my full time job. So, I can't promise consistency at this point (we saw what happened last time I tried that) but the story is coming. I also wish Webnovel would've given us notifications a long time ago whenever we got chapter comments or something because I ran through and noticed a good handful that I missed entirely... and not it's been so long that it's just awkward to try to reply. In addition, I feel I should mention this but writing this novel at this time (chronologically in terms of how my novels connect) is probably a bit weirder for most others than it is for me. Since I've had this major scheme behind all my novels since day one, I know the context of it. Truth is, The Library is like... the centerpiece of all my novels and it shows a direct link between all of my novels. Soon, in upcoming chapters, you will see why that is. Putting this novel out there before starting many other novels that would've gained context was sort of... fun for me. It challenges me to not spoil it all right away, plus it leaves that sort of mystery that let's people think when I come out with the next novels and so on that how did this one connect and what context will the next story provide? There's a lot that went into planning this, and I'm hoping to start writing it a little faster starting now. Stick around, it's only getting started!
I doubt anyone still reads my books, but if you've made it this far, thanks for finishing part two of The Six Guns. This is the end of this series, but the next series will pick up where The Six Guns left off. More has yet to unfold still. There's still a lot of writing I plan to do, just might take a while because my chapters are short for a novel but long for a light novel. To be able to make sure I can actually tie in all the minor details I've had planned since before starting my books, it requires a lot of back reading, planning, foreshadowing and generally just time. Time, which I don't often have, due to working. The average chapter word count I have per book varies as well, based on what feels right for each chapter and the story pacing. This book happened to have around an average word count of 2.6k+ words per chapter and a total word count of nearly 214k words in total! Though it was only roughly 82 chapters, it was a long ride. I had gone on hiatus I think about 7 times. There's a lot to go into these stories and a lot going on in life in general. I don't contract my works either because I do these for fun and go at my own pace. Especially since my pace can be inconsistent sometimes, unlike the older days when I did daily updates for Wear. Speaking of, a few things to look forward to if you read more of my books. Wear will have a part 2. The next part will be titled "Tear". In addition, I do have planned full books chronicling the "Restoration Period" mentioned in The Six Guns, following the Naris Catastrophe. I also plan on writing the full book covering Ishmael's story in detail as well. I also have two other books other than the ones mentioned already, and the names for those projects keep changing because I have yet to decide on a final name for those. The next novel I write will likely be the first book for the series Legacy though, as it is further in the planning phase. Until then, thanks for reading. -Leo Fraust
