When the bomb fell, there was no time for fear. Everything vanished in a fraction of a second. The searing heat consumed his building, his city, his existence. His final thought was a list of gratitude: Cyberpunk 2077, GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption 2, Metal Gear, Death Stranding, and, of course, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2. Games that had accompanied him in his quiet life and now seemed like a comfort amid the end.

Black as the abyss itself the scissors reflected in her eyes. Two long blades sharp on only one side were joined, the two handles were round and wide allowing her to grasp them by any part. Other than their size, these scissors were almost nothing different from normal scissors.

I shuffled back to the table where I left my VR goggles last night, grabbed them, and lay back down on my bed. Yesterday, I almost finished designing my PDA, which would replace my cyberdeck. It's not hard to assemble, the main challenge is transferring and adapting the software to the device itself. The idea came to me after recalling a pocket computer from a well-known game. Of course, it would be far more technologically advanced than mine, but that doesn't mean I'll stop improving.
