Khan belongs to the Broken Tusk tribe, and is the third son of the chief Bhakar. Khan always tried to make himself stand out, but he knew he would never be as strong as his eldest brother Bhal, or as smart as his second brother Braukr. In an attempt to stand out he joined a war party against a rival tribe, The pale ones. While on the battlefield Khan freezes in fear and he notices all around him are the corpses and bodies of people he knew from his tribe and from the pale ones. He hears the screams, cries, and pleas of the wounded begging for death. While he isn't paying attention a pale one tribe member hits Khan and knocks him unconscious. The next thing Khan knows he is being sold to a area as a slave fighter. So begins the epic of Khan.
