The story is not bad. Actually compared to the rubbish fanfic on this site it's quite good, but unfortunately it's suffering from the upload speed. Many chapters are just monologues, rehash from the original book, alternative pov, OC peeping on the main cast, smut...etc. There's nothing wrong with that, and it can be quite entertaining to read normally, BUT when you wait a whole week only to get a single chapter filled with that stuff, it can be quite frustrating. My advice is to basically close cultivate, accumilate a decent amount of chapters, and then binge it one go. Unless you like getting blueballed, in which case you can go ahead and suffer.
I know that having the targaryan in the fic would make it more interesting, but logically if the mc wants to conquer the world, then they shouldn't survive the doom in the first place. If I was the mc I would assassinate the dragon dream prophet girl begore she warns her family. Isn't that how they managed to survive the doom in the first place? Having another rival dragon family just seems like a disadvantage without any merit. Anyway few chapters of after the doom then skip over briefly to Aegon and his sisters then focusing on house of dragons is the best imo.
