something like: "maybe it was your father who made the prophecy"

"Never ever say what you were going to say."

a little contradictory because he wants to know all the powers of his "daughter" ...

"Serina, if there is one thing I want you to always have on your mind, that would be this: there is no such thing as eternal friends or enemies. Things change and creatures act in order to reach their goals. Always, always be suspicious about someone's motives because you could have a friend for a hundred years, only to find out that he will backstab you when your guard is down. Secrets will keep us safe until someone finds out about them. Do you understand?"

there is enough, vampires are not able to do farm work because they do not need to eat but are able to create a septic tank for uninhabited houses and for inhabitants who have no droppings ...

The presence of a septic tank for feces surprised Reed.

you should write Chinese novels. I'm sure they would work! I really like your conclusion with a forgotten legacy!

I can read it and understand it and from the start, it's not that sentence that bothers me but: "Roy really could not think of anything else that could relieve his hunger from the surroundings". and the only thing I was saying was, "don't you know eggs are eaten?" and my original comment rightly implied the instinct: I hoped instinct had prevailed over reason, causing him to eat his shell rather than realizing he was surrounded by food! moreover, I did not insult you and if you could not understand what I was implying, it is not I who am illiterate ...

Roy really could not think of anything else that could relieve his hunger from the surroundings, so he could not care less as he grabbed a piece of the eggshell, stuffed it into his mouth, and chomped on it vigorously.

the truth is that racism requires (as you just said) a distinction between different races. therefore, by abuse of language, everything can be racism if the person speaking about it is racist. ^^ So as such, I got used to considering all forms of prejudice linked to differences between 2 groups as racism ... for me the "real" racism is a paradox as such because we all belong to the same race: homo sapiens. So maybe our contradiction comes from the fact that my definition is different from yours (and that in my language, racism has indeed 2 definitions including the one I'm talking about).

In his imagination, any kid that grew up in an orphanage could hardly keep their body and soul together. He was certain that the girl would have a head of frizzy hair and her skin would definitely be dark brown. There was no way she would be as adorable as his mother had described.

she tried...

Even though she did not have a good impression of her, as a good teacher, she was trying not to judge a student based on their appearance.

... reject a category of person because of their external characteristics ... isn't that the definition of racism?

I would have answered "the human race" ...

'Eh… Mistake? What mistake? THE GREAT SAGE HEAVEN'S EQUAL?! Woaaahhh! He gave me a SYSTEM TO REACH DEITY REALM?! So generous! Thank you very much, Uncle Sun!'

what a beautiful world: - in other words: if you work hard and you don't progress, you might as well give up. It's just that you don't have any talent. -someone lazy can progress super fast, he just has amazing talent! (and that if he worked just a little, he would overtake everyone) let's digitize talent and effort: - someone who works hard can reach 90% of their potential of 100: so 90. -a slacker who reaches 1% of his potential of 100000: 1000. So: in this world, you can try: if it works then the effort is worth the cost otherwise you might as well give up direct. But the question being, is the reward really worth that much? He tells us as well that the goal of this effort and effort is a job with high risk of death and hazardous income.

When he was young, Mo Xiaobai was told that the limit of a person's achievement depended on his talent, while the bottom line depended on his hard work. Talent was hard to change, but one could choose to be hardworking.
