A female trapped in the memories of her ancestors due to a game demo her mother was playing before the power surge that claimed her mother's life. Hundreds of lives later, the girl awakens as her original self as emergency paramedics retrieve her from her mother's dead body. Her father weeping by the side. How can someone stuck in centuries past learn to grow? By falling in love with someone ready to shape the future of their world, one step at a time.

I wrote a cute little short story three years ago that I wanted to share. It's about love at first sight, but I wrote it a long time ago so please forgive my lack of detail.
