Bab 7: Encounters
Later that night, I couldn't get any decent sleep. I was tossing myself left and right just to find that spot. But every time I do fine comfort, the tingling feeling comes back. It was hours away before sunrise and all I had was broken sleep. I then decided to do a morning run.
Luckily for me, my friends are still asleep. It was usually me who woke them so it's all good. I put on a comfortable long shirt and tight pants and then went on out to do my run. I realized that I've never run this fast in a while since I started working and it feels good.
Running makes me feel relaxed, it somehow helps me clear my mind over things, and in this case, there's a lot in my head that needed to be cleared. Running around the hotel grounds did help me calm down and after a couple of laps, I had filled my need and decided to head back. In a few hours, we'll be heading out for our day tour.
I then get on the elevator and I felt lucky because there was no one inside. I guess it's quite early in the morning so no one is probably around. However, before the elevator door closes, a hand popped in. It would've been fine if it was some stranger or guest in the hotel but the hand had this distinct white skin.
"Didn't anyone tell you that it's rude to not let people in when they're in a hurry?" Oh god, no… Just when I had a peaceful run, why do I have to cross paths with this violet-eyed guy? He didn't even push any button since he knew that we were on the same floor. "Hmm…? What wrong? Cat cut your tongue…?" Like any other idol's disguising, he wore a dark gray hoodie covering almost half his face and a black face mask. Though he had both down when he entered the elevator. Slowly, he walked towards me to which I backed up. I backed up until I felt the wall behind me. "[Or do you prefer this voice…?]" He then boxed me on the wall and his face is so close to mine.
"W – What do you want?"
"[Ah! She finally speaks…]" He then had the audacity to stroke my hair to the side and then suddenly went for my neck! I jolted and had to close my eyes anticipating a bite but instead, I only felt a kiss on the same spot he bit me before, "[Even though you went for a run, you still smell so sweet…]" What the…? Does he have a fetish or something? And then I felt his mouth on my neck, sucking gently and his tongue licking the spot, he even secured my wrists on the wall with his hands.
"Mm~" I didn't mean to moan but contrary to his cold white hands, his mouth was hot. What is happening to me? My body feels hot and the feeling reached high when I felt his teeth piercing my neck again, "Ahh~" Oh no, that came out differently than a scream. The same tingling pressure came back but this time it wasn't that painful. I wanted to make him stop but a side of me doesn't want to. But then a glimmer of hope came when I heard the elevator dinged. I then forced myself to push him off as the doors opened and I rushed out towards our room.
I scrambled at the door's keycard and when it opened, I look out towards the elevator, and there I saw him walking out slowly, wiping his lips with my blood. I was afraid he'll come after me but he didn't, he just stood there and watched me. And before I shut the door, I saw him smiling at me like he had a satisfying meal out of me.
Feeling the safety of the locked room, I slide down by the door as I catch up to my breath. I then touched my neck once again and I could feel the two distinct holes. How could I let him near me like that again? This is some kind of sorcery; I should've pushed him away the moment he came at me. Why? Why did I let him? Huh, my heart must also be crazy for throbbing this fast when he touched me back there. No, this must be fear… It has to be…
After that unexpected encounter, I decided to not think about it anymore. Once we get out of this hotel, we won't ever see them again. I just have to be with my friends always and be on guard, I won't let that Kangwoo get near me ever again.
"Wow, look at this view!" Ebony exclaimed as we set foot on the Tokyo Tower Main Observatory Deck. Today's day tour involves visiting the world-famous Tokyo Tower. We're lucky that there weren't that many people touring the tower today, we could enjoy the scenery more.
"Jeanne, come here, look… it's the 'Lookdown Window'. We could almost see the whole city down there." Louie offered a hand to me but if there's one thing that scares me the most, it's high places.
"Uh, no thank you… I'll just take pictures from here… You go ahead and see for yourself…"
He then looked teasing and tried to drag me, "Come on, it's not that high.".
"NO! I said no!" But he overpowered me and practically dragged me over, "NO! STOP IT, LOUIE!" I then had to hug him and not look at the window. I then heard him laughing.
"Come on, open your eyes, Jeanne…"
"No, I won't."
"Please…?"
"You heard me."
"Not even a peek…?"
"No."
"Alright, alright…" I then blindly hit his chest as he tried to trick me into opening my eyes for not moving but eventually, he took pity and lead me back to the inner deck.
Once I confirmed we were far from the window, I looked at him and whined, "Don't you dare do that again!".
He laughed again as he swayed us left to right, "Okay, okay, I won't, don't be mad…" I then instinctively pout at him.
"Oho, what is this?" We then heard an amused voice, it was Vince and Ebony with her phone snapping a picture, "Is there something we should know…?".
I then got myself out of Louie's arms as he bluntly said, "Oh, nothing… I was just trying to get Jeanne by the Lookdown Window but I lost.".
Ebony looked unconvinced and said, "Uh – huh, right…".
I then exhaled deep and replied, "That's right… Anyway, where are the kids…?".
"Oh, I thought they were with you." Vince said then Louie quickly countered, "No, the last time I saw them was with you guys." Oh no, where did those two go? We tried calling them but it all went to their voicemails.
We then began looking for the two youngsters, and we decided to split up to cover more places. I then searched for places that I knew that the two might be hanging out and as expected I found one of them.
"JUSTIN!" I yelled from far away as I spotted the boy. He innocently smiles at me until I hit him on his shoulder, "You stupid little kids! You scared the heck out of us, where is Elise!?".
"We're sorry Miss Jeanne, we got carried away and our phones both died… Elise and I actually got separated and I'm looking for her as well." Oh no, that's not good news.
I then handed him my phone and instructed him, "Fine, I'll look for her. Call Vince and tell him where you are… STAY right here.".
As Justin calls Vince, I continued my search for Elise. I almost lost hope until I saw someone who looked like her by the 'Open-air Outdoor Stairs' entrance. Following my gut, I went there, and true enough I saw my junior being forcibly taken up the stairs by some men.
"ELISE!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, luckily she heard me though the man who had held her captive didn't let her speak. I then confronted the men, "HEY! Let go of my junior!" A man had then blocked me by the stairs, "Get out of my way! Who the hell are you anyway!?" These men don't seem to understand me until I speak Nihongo, "[Where are you taking my friend? Who are you?]".
The men then shared a look which I took as an opportunity to get past my blocker but it didn't work. He had caught my arm and then forcibly pulled me back which caused me to lose my balance by the stairs.
"Miss Jeanne!" I heard my junior yell as I fell from the flight of stairs. Everything went so fast that I just waited for the impact below but instead of a hard and painful landing, I felt a strong arm catching me mid-air. What? Who?
"[Careful there, sweet blood…]" Korean… Don't tell me… "[I don't want you spilling your tasty blood all over the tower.]". Kangwoo!?
