Bab 50: Investigating Gu Wan

Traffic in Haicheng City was very bad this weekend. The villa was located in the western suburbs while the Gu residence was in the eastern suburbs. The distance between them was almost half of the entire Haicheng City. Gu Wan was sitting in a taxi and had yet to arrive home.

The driver was getting impatient and bored with being stuck in traffic. So he started chatting with his passenger, "Young lady, you live in the eastern suburbs? Are you coming to work overtime this weekend?"

Gu Wan did not answer.

The driver continued, "Sigh, it's really hard for young people nowadays. They live in the western suburbs, but work in the eastern suburbs. I wonder how much time they waste on the road..."
