"Are you that angry?" She asked again.

"Why should I be?" His voice was right next to her. Since he had better night vision, he could tell what kind of face she was making. One of his hands was on her waist as he pulled her closer, while another one played gently with her lower lips. It had such a beautiful rosy colour that was mesmerising him whenever he looked at them. 

"I interrupted your fight… That chimera could fetch quite a price," Violet tried to talk properly but his fingers got in the way. The hunt was one of the ways how nobles and mercenaries made money. Everything on a high-ranking beast was extremely valuable, be it skin, scales, claws, organs, and other body parts.
