Bab 66: Hardest Decision

Mariela's POV

It was one month after I left Minglapolis without saying goodbye to Archer. And Carlos was true to his words. He paid for Angela's operation after I signed the contract, and it was the hardest decision I have ever made.

I am so thankful everything went well, and there were no complications from Angela's operation, and I knew Archer's dad hired the most competent doctors and specialists in Carzavilla City. I was the one who looked after my sister after the operation, and I accompanied her to the hospital for her follow checkups after she got discharged.

My mother didn't allow me to have a part-time job for the rest of the summer, but she begged me to care for my sister as she was in her recovery period. I loved my sister, and I felt so happy that she finally had a healthy kidney, and I know she needs at least twelve weeks to return to her normal activities, and I need to make sure she will not carry heavy things.
