Bab 159: Chapter 159: I Am Getting So Tired

As soon as she fell into the water, the salty, bitter water flooded through her nose, and Edie panicked. Her swimming level was just about average, but she still had some effects of the drug in her body, which made her unable to exert herself. There was nothing she could do; she started to sink to the bottom of the sea.

She managed to bring herself up on top of the water, and the thoughts were flashing through her mind, "Childe did not grab the contract from her, and what happens if he can't swim?" She shook her head as if she had forgotten where she was, she could not save him, and she tried to swim.

She gasped for air as it was getting harder for her to breathe, and her eyes were growing heavy. The cold water flooded in as if to swallow her up, "I am getting so tired." Maybe she should have given up, her mother was gone, and there was no one left, why was she still struggling?
