I decided to tell the truth rather than lie to the empress. I know she was disappointed and worried. She granted my wish, but I failed her instead.

"Speak," Empress demands.

"I agreed to what happened, but in return, he'll never doubt you again. Master shouldn't betray you and believe in other people's words without seeing the truth himself. Your Highness, I want him to help you achieve the peace that you've been aiming for," I remarked.
