Bab 21: I need more Energy!
'Your next step would be to challenge the Void beasts and learn how they attack, move and think. You already fought a Void Berserker, right? Think about the experience, its looks and abilities.' As Mars thought about the huge build of the Shepherd he defeated, appeared an image inside the Void, slowly forming the gigantic body of it, now standing before them.
'Woah! That really work-!' Just as Mars was wondering about this phenomena, did that thing suddenly move, trying to conquer this Void. As it finally focused on Mars, rage could be seen in its eyes. It let a roar out and slammed its own fist towards Mars, but as it was greatly weaker than Mars, he stopped him using his Void Energy and held it in place, reverting its position to the starting point. That 'clone' clearly wanted to show a reaction, but just wasn't able to as Mars had full control over it. Its own energy was simply not pure enough to stop his assault.
The primordial being was visibly pleased by this development and rattled its limbs again. The Berserker then lost the will to fight and just floated in this place, with life leaving its eyes.
'What did you do? He seems ... dead.' 'I just resetted his mind. The Void Berserker you imagined wasn't a normal one but instead the one you had fought and whose herd sacrificied itself to you. The rage manipulated its thoughts and so it attacked you. Next time think of a neutral one, so this doesn't happen again, but I must compliment you for doing it on the first try. This is also an ability of the Void, you can create anything you can imagine. The only thing binding you, is your own fantasy. So free yourself of such a shackle.'
Mars continued go study this new way of the Void that creates rather than to destroy and liked it more. He also tried to learn the leviathans name, but he said that he haid none. Thus he was now called Levi.
They continued to do this for a long time until Mars could almost perfectly create Void beings. As he tried to summon a herd of Void Stalkers, he noticed that they were rather 'fond' of him. They were like dogs, listening to his every command and did as they were told. 'You have quite an ability to soothe beings of the Void, they like to be with you it seems, like your own sheep. You might be able to let them fight for you or do other things, if you can summon them on the outside. The only thing I noticed is that you lack a specific thing... Your Energy Capacity. If you use it recklessly you will run out of it immediately. Here is a technique to let you steal Void from other Void beings.' A swirl formed on Levis tail draining the stalkers of their energy even by just being near them. They quickly fell one after another.

'Yes!' Mars's energy pores opened, letting out some of his energy, only to get sucked right in again and transporting the external energy with it back to Mars's pores. Mars's Capacity raised back up and his tired condition got better.
... CONGRATULATIONS - LEARNED SKILL VOID DRAIN ...
'Great, you should try training your Capacity now. It won't work here, as this is already my internal Void. You should use outside Void Energy. So goodbye for now.' With that Mars simply got thrown out of the Void Within and returned to his stand before the Energy Core. He simply recalled everything and decided to use his exp to level up once again.
... CONGRATULATIONS - REACHED LEVEL 26 GAINING 4 FREE STAT POINTS AND 30 ENERGY CAPACITY ...
'So the breakthrough also influenced the leveling system... It seems leveling up is more worth it again.' After that Mars went to his meditation room and used his last 25000 exp to gain more Energy Capacity. The only thing separating him from the Void chamber was a big glass panel and some vents, letting him see and smell the decay and rotting feeling coming from all the Void bladders.

The Void energy easily flowed through the vents towards Mars's energy pores and circled around him, slowly flowing inside of him and integrating this new energy into himself. This time Mars seemed to really feel the Void Energy as he was absorbing the real thing and not an imitation from the first tries. This was pure Void. After more than 2 hours did a final system announcement appear.

An energy impulse got shot out of Mars shattering the glass and sucking all of the Void Energy into himself. The energy signals from the bladders got weaker and weaker until they stopped sending them out and were void of all energy. They won't be of use for a while...

MetaShadow Mars's thoughts: "It seems this might be my last easy session for Energy training... I might have gone overboard at the end, but the Void was so overwhelming that I simply drained the entire bladders of it... That glas was also supposed to hold out more than just that energy pulse... Maybe I am too strong already."
