Bab 156: Unexpected Betrayal

The sound of magic explosions echoed from all directions as if to drown the place in destruction. The smell of blood rose to Quirin's nose. When he looked at the chaos below him, his gaze was transfixed for a few moments.

Another Rhodes resident's life fell under Quirin's watch. The man averted his gaze when he saw that there were more deaths out there. Quirin took a deep breath and organized his thoughts properly.

Quirin felt this was not the right time to proceed with his plan. But no matter how long Quirin waited, he felt that he would never be ready if he did not make up his mind. Quirin's life had been filled with blood ever since he chose to take his path. Ready or not, Quirin knew he had to make his move before someone snatched his goal.
