Abigail, calmly smiled at Rebecca as the Doctor finished adjusting the moon boot and saying "Miss Meng, my suggestion is for the weekend you keep off your feet as much as possible to give your wrists time to rest.  While you only jarred your hands, they will hurt for some time.  I am aware that the City Wide Examinations are next week, so I will submit the necessary paperwork for special consideration for you in those examinations because of your injuries…"

"Doctor that will not be necessary."

Shaking his head, the doctor said "It is absolutely necessary.  The shock to your hands from this fall, added to the shock they have had from the other falls, will make it impossible for you to grip a pen for any length of time without a brace on your writing hand and a support on your other hand.  Without my written advice you will not be able to have that support, and the pain will be such as it will hamper your ability to complete the exams."
