As for getting a servant cook to make them food... you still need to pay for the fresh ingredients and the packaging if you don't want your Cosmo equipment to become a cesspool of food jumbled together. 

"We can buy some restaurant or street food but dried food would be the most convenient and best for travel." Shen Tianyu told them as much but didn't bar them from buying non-dried food.
