"This humble one would like to know, just where you two dragon among men have come from?" Jing Yiqiu asked after straightening up. His clothes were somewhat tattered, but seeing as Shen Tianyu gave him some face, they were mostly intact. Perhaps he was aware of this too.

"We really can't afford to take such a compliment from the Crown Prince. We're only nobodies from a backwoods part of the kingdom, how could we compare to the glorious Crown Prince? We were only lucky." Shen Tianyu put on a humble smile and deflected his questioning. 'Could he be trying to recruit us? Or probing us? Well since we've come here and participated, we'll be considered part of the kingdom, even if temporarily.'

They continued on with some small talk before the Crown Prince finally left without getting much information. The two also left and went back to Lavender Palace.
