Bab 267: Chapter 0266: Wife is Great

When they were going back, they each drove a car. Jaylene's car was originally behind Joseph Thompson's, but gradually Joseph's car slowed down, as if he was waiting for her.

At the crossroad near Star Ocean City, Jaylene's car overtook Joseph's, and she reached the underground parking first.

As she locked the car and waited for the elevator, Joseph's car still hadn't returned. She was about to call him, but before she could take out her mobile phone, he called her first.

"Jaylene, I have an emergency to deal with right now," she just pressed the answer button, and Joseph Thompson's voice came from the mobile phone, clearly with a trace of panic. "I probably won't be back until late tonight, you should shower and sleep early and not wait for me."

"Alright, I know," she replied, stepping into the just-opened elevator and reminding him, "You be careful while driving."
