Bab 118: The Bigger Picture

Yawn!

Lia yawned as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. The tent had an internal temperature regulator, and it was comfy, so it helped her sleep well even with all the crazy things that happened. 

As she opened her eyes, she realized the tent was empty, she was the only one there. Only then did the memories of everything that happened rush back into her mind.

However, if Lucius never came into the tent, doesn't that mean he actually stayed up all night?

"Or did he sleep out in the cold?" Lia muttered under her breath as she noticed all the blankets were with her.

She unzipped the entrance of the tent and rushed out, only to see Lucius seated on a rock in thought. He had dark circles under his eyes and looked slightly pale.

For some reason, he didn't look as scary as he was the other night.

"He looks… human…" Lia muttered as mixed emotions swirled in her heart.
