Bab 60: Two Sides of the Same Coin

There is nothing more debilitating than having to deal with sophisticated noblemen—so full of themselves, unaware of their limits.

"Sir Hahn, I believe you have some explaining to do, regarding the outburst from Noah Kaiser." Viscount Welf opened as soon as the red head was seated among the three noblemen, huddled together over tea and cigar.

"Indeed." Baron Edinburgh, one of Kari's most fervent sponsor echoed. "Is she truly a princess of that detestable tribe?"

"Now, now. I'm sure there is a good explanation for all of this." Marquis Weiss threw a side-glance towards Adelredus. As the youngest among the three noblemen, Marquis Weiss did his best to hide his greed by assuming a passive stance. 

"Speaking of which, where is that greedy man, Count Graf? I haven't seen a strand of his hair in the last weeks." Baron Edinburgh asked out loud.
