"Mom isn't coming back again?" Yue Han asked with a hint of disappointment.

Yue Xi nodded dejectedly. "But she said that she would come back to give you her blessings on the day of your engagement."

Yue Xi only responded in a low voice before turning to leave. His back looked dejected and hunched, making one's heart ache.
