Bab 181: Marriage Proposal

Hu Guanghui was very enthusiastic. He led Chu Li through a courtyard and arrived at an elegant small courtyard. He chuckled. "This is the abode specially built for important guests. Scribe Chu Li, please take a good rest and I will report to the High Duke."

Chu Li gave him a fist salute. "Sorry for the trouble."

"You are too polite. Xiao Ying!" Hu Guanghui yelled.

"Coming!" a pretty maid came in. She was dressed in a pale blue gown. She was petite, with big eyes that revealed her mischievousness. "Chief!"

"This is Scribe Chu Li from the Yi Public House. You must take good care of him!" Hu Guanghui ordered gruffly.

"Yes." Xiao Ying nodded with a smiling face. She said crisply, "Scribe Chu Li, I am Xiao Ying. Please tell me if you need anything!"

Chu Li gave her a fist salute and smiled. "Then I'll have to trouble Miss Xiao Ying."
