Bab 252: Divine Punishment

The ice energy had combed out any life remaining in the beast's corpses and encased them like they were figurines to show off. 

Usually, divisions like this were never meant to face high-ranking warriors or beasts as they pretty much were invincible except for someone at their level. Thus, it was an unwritten rule of this world where beings above Ajana level don't engage in mass slaughter or fight deliberately someone at a power level lower than them. They could only fight with someone at their level or above. The functioning nations and society as we see today were only possible by separating folks above and below the Watershed Ajana level.
